Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Values Within website and web app. Values Within is operated by Astra Nora LLC d/b/a Values Within ("Values Within," "we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account, starting a subscription, or using Values Within, you agree to these Terms.

The service

Values Within is a reflective practice for selected values, journaling, guided journeys, Nora text chat, insights, and the Awareness Map. The Awareness Map starts from the astrological natal chart and may blend Human Design context when birth time is known. Selected values and reflections help shape the experience over time.

Values Within is designed for reflection and self-understanding. It is not medical, mental health, legal, financial, crisis, or professional advice. If you need urgent help or professional support, contact an appropriate professional or emergency service.

Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for keeping your account credentials secure. You must not share access to your account or use another person's account without permission.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Values Within. If the laws where you live require a higher age to use online services, that higher age applies.

Your content

You may submit journal entries, reflections, Nora text chat messages, values, profile details, feedback, and other content ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content.

You grant Values Within a limited license to host, process, transmit, display, and use your User Content as needed to operate, secure, support, improve, and personalize the service, including generating reflective prompts, readings, summaries, Nora replies, insights, and Awareness Map context.

You are responsible for the User Content you submit. Do not submit content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, infringing, or that you do not have the right to provide.

Connected apps and consented exports

Values Within may offer optional account linking or scoped exports to other Astra Nora ecosystem apps, such as Vesta Dating. These features are opt-in. When you authorize an export, Values Within may create a limited summary, such as a relationship blueprint, for the connected app to use under the disclosed purpose.

Private journal text is not included in a relationship blueprint export by default. Connected apps may keep imported snapshots or audit records where needed for safety, legal, billing, or security reasons, even after you revoke future sharing.

AI-generated and reflective content

Nora replies, readings, insights, prompts, Awareness Map text, and similar generated content may be incomplete, inaccurate, or not suitable for your situation. You are responsible for how you interpret and use generated content.

Astrological and Human Design context is provided as a reflective framework, not as deterministic prediction, diagnosis, or proof of fixed traits. Tense patterns should be understood as developmental edges and potential, not defects.

Subscriptions, trial, and billing

Values Within offers a web subscription through Billing Core and payment providers such as Stripe. The standard web plan is a 3-day free trial followed by $5.99 per week, billed weekly, unless you cancel before the trial ends. Eligible Astra Nora users may be offered a $3.99-per-week introductory rate; any applicable discount is shown before checkout.

Billing Core and payment providers handle checkout, payment method collection, billing, invoices, and subscription management. Values Within does not store full payment card numbers.

Trial eligibility may be limited to users who have not previously subscribed. If you are not trial-eligible, checkout may begin a paid weekly subscription immediately.

You can cancel through the billing controls in the app or through Stripe-hosted billing flows when available. Cancellation stops future billing at the end of the applicable billing period or trial, unless Stripe or the billing page states otherwise.

Prices, features, and billing terms may change. If a change affects an active paid subscription, we will provide notice where required.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Break the law or violate another person's rights.
• Attempt to access accounts, systems, data, or features without permission.
• Interfere with, overload, reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the service.
• Upload or submit malicious code or harmful content.
• Use Values Within to harass, exploit, threaten, or harm others.
• Misrepresent generated content as professional advice or guaranteed truth.

Service changes and availability

We may update, suspend, limit, or discontinue parts of Values Within. We aim to keep the service reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation.

Account suspension or termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for the service or other users, fail to pay applicable fees, or if required by law. You may stop using Values Within at any time.

Intellectual property

Values Within, including its design, software, brand, text, graphics, workflows, and other materials, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by law. These Terms do not transfer ownership of Values Within intellectual property to you.

Disclaimers

Values Within is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Values Within and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and may provide additional notice where appropriate. Continued use of Values Within after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
